Gabion basket
Gabion baskets (boxes) are made of Hexagonal Galvanized / PVC / Zinc coated /
Alu-zinc double twisted mild steel wire mesh.
Gabion baskets shall be supplied in various lengths, widths and heights. In order to Strengthen the baskets, all the edges of the structure shall be selvedged with wire of greater diameter.
River Gabion Mattresses
Gabion Mattress can be made of hexagonal double-twistered mild steel wire mesh.
Mattresses can be supplied in various length, widths and heights. The tolerance of mattresses’ dimentsions are +/-3% in length, +/-3% in width and +/-2.5cm in heigth.
In order to strengthen the mattresses, all the edges of the mattress are selvedged with a wire of greater diameter
The river mattress is a structure made of hexagonal double twisted wire mesh. River mattresses are filled with stones at the project site to form flexible and permeable, monolithic structures such as river bank protection and channel linings for erosion control.
Surface treatment of gabion mattress: The woven steel wire used to manufacture the mattress is heavily zinc-coated soft temper steel.

Gabion Cage
Gabion cages are wire containers made of hexagonal wire netting. Wire diameter varies with the hexagonal nettings. For hexagonal wire nettinng
with no pvc coating, the wire diameter ranges from 2.0mm to 4.0mm. For those PVC coated hexagonal wire netting, the outside diameter ranges
from 3.0mm to 4.0mm. The wire of the outside frame edge is one wire gauge thickner than the wire used for hexagonal wire netting
